Bent – Story Concept

Bent Animation Studio (back in the day when they were more funky) wanted a more engaging homepage experience that showcased their prowess of crafting awesome stories in a verity of mediums.

Project Summary: Using the power of HTML5 parallax and scrolling-activated animation, we wanted to tell a story of a puppet, falling through space of the four animation mediums that Bent excelled at: stop motion, 2D, CG, and VFX. This sequence happened to be the order in which Bent evolved an an animation studio.

Although the idea to integrate scrollable video elements with HTML callouts was a bit too much to develop effectively, the story got turned into as a scrollable full-page video that was pretty sweet.
